The phenomenon was given a name: "The Summer of Love. love will tear us apart film " But what was the Summer of Love, apart from this shared feeling among America's youth? And how did it come about? Was it really all that we're making it out to be, or was it in fact just an excuse for kids to turn to debauchery and hedonism? Did the Summer of Love really mean anything at all?
